Scrip Store Card Program
Are you getting the most out of your shopping $$$$ If you use store cards instead of cash or credit cards you get more return for your money. How does that work you ask???
If you buy store cards to stores you shop regularly ( Roche Bros, Target, Amazon, LL Bean, Dunkin Donuts, just to name a few) each card you buy, that merchant give a percentage to McT on your behalf. That’s right, if you buy a KMart card for $25 - you get the full $25 and KMart gives Mct $1.50. So really your $25 store card is worth $26.50. Now that may not seem like a lot, but we make almost $5,000 a year with this program. And that is with only 10% of the McT community participating. Can you image if 20% of the McT participated in this program????
These store cards are EASY TO ORDER. You simply fill out the Scrip order form 2011-2012 and send in a check with your child or you can order than on-line (and not worry that your child forgot to pass in the form by the deadline). Directions to order on line are below. Cards can be purchased by anyone. So feel free to give the Scrip order form to family members, neighbors and co-workers and help them shop for their upcoming holiday season.
To order on-line - Create an account by following these simple instructions. You can also set up a Presto Pay account and pay for your cards on-line (15 cent fee & the money comes right out of your checking account, how easy is that).
1 – log on to www.shopwithscrip.com
2 – Click on the “Get Started” tab on top
3 – Click on the “Register” tab on left
4 – Enter info (on step 3 the only optional info we need is Child’s name/teacher name to deliver the cards to
5 – Enrollment code for McT is AL91AAC31L565 (when you get your confirmation on screen - please make sure it indicates McT and Lynne as the coordinator).
After you have placed your order through this website, it will give you a shopping cart you can print out and send in with your check. Or if you pay on-line through Presto Pay, you don’t have to do anything else!
Deadline - December scrip deadline is Wednesday, January 18th. Please contact Lynne or Maureen with any questions. Also, this is my last year at McT so we are looking for two people that would like to shadow us to take this over in September.
