Throughout the year, we have various “no additional money” fundraisers from on-line merchants as well as generous Acton area merchants that help support our PTSO. The Donelan’s Supermarket Register Tapes for Education Program is ongoing until the Spring. The On-line Merchants are continously.
Start Collecting Your Donelan’s Supermarket Receipts!
When you buy groceries at Donelan’s Supermarket, you’re doing more than just feeding your family. Through the Register Tapes for Education Program, all Donelan’s Supermarket receipts dated September 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011 can be turned into free educational equipment for McCarthy-Towne, including art supplies and books. Please save your receipts every time you shop at Donelan’s Supermarket! Simply send the receipts in with your child or drop them in the collection box in the McT office. Receipts dated September 1, 2010–March 31, 2011 are eligible.
You also get a chance to win a $500 grocery gift certificate plus an iPod Shuffle. There is a sweepstakes entry form going home in backpacks and can also be found at Donelan’s order form. Complete this entry form and submit it with your receipt tapes by January 15th for a chance to win the ipod and shopping spree. (Please leave the “school code” section of the entry form blank. I will fill that out when I submit the receipts.) If you aren’t a regular shopper at Donelan’s consider shopping there during the promotional period or ask your friends and neighbors to give you their receipts. Don’t forget the great prizes you could win.

Onecause.comWhile Away, Help McT When You Play! This summer, while your family is far away from McT, you can still help our school. Just shop on-line at your favorite stores via Onecause.com and a percentage of your total purchases will be donated by those merchants to McCarthy-Towne. Here’s a truly easy win-win for everyone. McT gets much-needed donations but you don’t spend any additional money. And, if you bought Scrip cards at the end of the year, you can use many of them when you pay for your purchases through OneCause.
